I bought this shoe for my husband who had hoped to find a pair of the black MBT Lofa shoe. We both agree that it is nice looking shoe and obviously dressier than his brown suede Lofa MBT. The problem is that the stretch elastic on both sides of the new loafer are shorter than the expandable elastic insertss on the Lofa shoe, causing the shoes to be much less comfortable for him. These shoes feel tight on him, and so he is disappointed. The shoes are expensive, so it is not the best situation. Since he had two hip replacements, comfortable shoes are a necessity, and he regrets that the Lofa shoe has been discontinued.

MBT shoes make such a difference to your posture, comfort and health. I still wear nice dress shoes to business meetings but I really live in MBT.. from dress shoes, running shoes and sandals. They my not be the prettiest shoes on the block but you can wear them for 12 hours straight with total comfort.. Just outstanding value.

It was what I was looking for. It makes me stand better and I hope that with time , my back will straighten out better.
